I Should Have Been a Doctor.
Wow, I'm very backed up in post I have been without internet service since Friday. Ohh LJ how I have missed you.

So I'm just gonna post my inteneded posts from Friday to Tuesday.

On Friday: Pathology is Awesome!

Just got back from seeing Pathology. But before I get to my little review a couple of things I noted that they really didn’t promote the movie that much which is truly a shame. The movie was getting a limited release which is cool because basically they wanted to see what the numbers would be, but my thing is they really didn’t promote the movie at all. It got plenty of promotion internet wise but not on TV. So how do they expect it to do well in limited release with no type of promotion? It’s a shame really because the movie was incredible.

There was a good amount of people in the theater for a Friday afternoon, and the theater was pretty strict on ID. I heard a couple of kids behind me talking about whether the cashier was going to ask for ID which she did.

I wasn’t too sure I was going to really like the movie despite the fact that Milo is in it. Sure he was the main reason I was going, but I was really surprised by the film itself. Good thrillers/horror movies are hard to come by these days and it’s really easy for most to fall into cliché traps and gimmicks. However when watching Pathology there was never a time I was thinking about how stupid a character’s actions were or rolling my eyes, or screaming in frustration at the screen. Milo was excellent as expected. With some actors it get hard to differentiate them from one character to the next, but Milo was every inch Ted Grey, whose last name, now that I think about it, fits very well. He gets sucked into this world and it’s easy to see from a curiosity standpoint how a person could get in over their head. It obvious that all the studying he did for the role paid off in a big way. Plus there are some nice eye-candy moments thrown in there to wet a girl’s appetite (SWOON!). At one point I thought my friend was going to run up and lick the screen. I loved every minute of the movie; even the sex scenes never feel out of place or unnecessary. Ohhh and the ending was just awesome and a genuine surprise. That’s hard for most movies to pull off. Big kudos to everyone involved with the project.

Also I heard the movie had to be cut in spots to make an R rating instead of NC-17 and with as much blood/gore/sex as there is in it I’m giddy and somewhat afraid to find out what was cut from the film.

I won’t give away anything, though if anyone wants to ask me anything spoilery they can email me or PM me.
